Item - Jeera Rice
Serves - 3 to 4
Ingredients -
- 2 to 3 cups cooked rice - plain or basmati
- 1/2 cup coriander, freshly chopped
- jeera, 2 to 3 tsp
- ghee, 1 tbsp
Method -
- In a broad & shallow vessel, add the ghee, if you want you can mix some ghee and some oil.
- Once hot, add in the jeera and allow it to brown / crackle.
- Add in the coriander & the rice, mix well and allow it to be on slow flame for a few minutes.
Can add in some garlic pods or a stick of cinnamon with the jeera to give a zing...
